Who We Are
Eigenminds was founded in early 2012 by two Computational Neuroscientists:
Mike Schachter
Mike has over a decade of experience in software development and is a graduate student at UC Berkeley’s Department of Biophysics. He researches neural computation in the auditory system and teaches classes in machine learning at the San Francisco hackerspace Noisebridge.
James Bonaiuto
James earned his PhD in Neuroscience at University of Southern California. He has extensive experience in both the software development industry and in Computational Neuroscience, and has published papers in the fields of Computer Vision, Neuroscience, and motor control. He’s currently a Postdoctoral researcher at the California Institute of Technology.
